ABOUT:
A man after my own heart, I needed to express my devotion to Gale in the prettiest way I could. Don't let the picture fool you, this collage is massive. It's about an arms length from top to bottom and 2 arms lengths from left to right. Very purple, very magical, very wizard-y. And LOTS of Gale quotes, cause, I mean, to quote an excellent wizard of intentionally limited renown: "I do have a practiced tongue." A practiced tongue indeed, and I love this man so much.

ABOUT:
Could probably be used against me in the instance of an intervention for my Byler addiction. Heavy on the blue and yellow theming, heavy on the eye motif. The one image of the van scene and the hearts in their eyes was in my head making this. The text is not that legible since it was done on an out of ink typewriter, plus I didn't know what I was doing in terms of getting a high quality picture. Byler, I love you. You've changed my life. ABOUT:
My longest lasting hyperfixation (though now I would just relegate it to an interest), SVTFOE changed my brain chemistry--though you can see a further rant about that in my SVTFOE shrine. This collage is the biggest one I have; it's about half of my body length lol. I don't tend to use washi tape for collages, but I needed something to break up the immense amount of pictures. And when I say immense amount of pictures, I mean it. I had over 100 pages of pictures to cut out for this collages and it took me multiple days just to get them all cut out. I tried including as many characters as possible, so there's some characters from one-off episodes sprinkled about in there. The stickers on this collage hate staying attached for some reason, so my floor is constantly dotted with assorted stickers.

ABOUT:
First in the series of collages I did for Bylerween over on tumblr. The theme I chose was "Creature Feature" and I decided to interpret it as werewolf!Will x vampire!Mike. I saw this concept floating around tumblr and I really loved it. Vampire!Mike exploded in popularity after S5 ended, and for good reason. The fur is actual fur glued on, and the blood splatters are red paint.

ABOUT:
For day 2 of Bylerween, the theme I chose was Byers' House. I wanted to go at this from a lense of Mike sitting alone in the Byers' house during the S2 timeline, trying to contact the ghost of Will who never returned from the Upside Down. The story that went with it was this: "it’s been a rough year for mike ever since his best friend went missing one night and never came back. the thought of celebrating halloween without him this year tears his heart apart, but he needs to keep it together and put on a good face for lucas, for dustin. for will. dressed in his ghostbusters costume, he stops by the byers’ old house before heading out to trick or treat. it’s been dead empty since johnathan and joyce moved away, unable to face the thought of hawkins after everything that happened to them. turns out mike’s costume was a little too on point for the night, finding himself in the house where will’s spirit resides. finally he can talk to him again, say some things he never got a chance to say." This collage was a bit rushed since I wasn't feeling the theme for the day + I was a day behind so ended up doing Day 1 + 2 in the same day. Never have I collaged so fast lmao.

ABOUT:
The theme for day 3 of Bylerween was "Somebody's Watching Me", so I took it in a direction of the whole "eye of Vecna" theory. But I also wanted to include some religious theming with it since I was very churchgate pilled when making this lol. I explained it on tumblr as: "what to do when both god and the devil are watching you?" The prying eyes of Vecna + the prying eyes of a church who hates you for exisiting. I like the split of the church at the bottom to the more red hellscape of Vecna' domain at the top, plus all the eyes staring at happy Byler.

This theme for Bylerween day 4 was "Hellfire". I was very into Cleradin and wanted to do paladin!Mike x cleric!Will. On tumblr I said: "sir mike the heart and will the wise join the hellfire club and embark on an epic quest together to slay a dragon (and homophobes)." I really like the colors on this one.

Bylerween day 5, "Radiowaves", is for certain my favorite of my Bylerween series. I LOVE the colors on this one, it's like everything I love dumped into one collage. I also adore this premise, the in between of S3 and S4 is something I love to think about. On tumblr I explained it as: "separated by california and hawkins, mike and will have to communicate with some (cerebro powered) radios." I really love the red thread I ran through it connecting Will and Mike together via the radio tower. This is just my favorite for so many reasons. I love rainbows and radios (go check out my radio page!!! I have some cool stuff on there :3).

Bylerween day 6 brings us to our finale, "Trick or Treat, Freak". This wasn't meant to be the finale, but I was overcome by Heartstopper and could not physically make the collages for the full 8 days of Bylerween. But I WILL be getting all the days next Bylerween, I'm very excited about that. This collage is for the season 2 episode 2 of the same title. It's just a collage of the episode, trying to capture the vibes and the iconic episode that gave us "crazy together".

Okay, Heartstopper changed me. I'm not even exaggerating. I started this show one night out of boredom cause I had an ex friend who was really into it and she was super toxic so I always had the association with her, but at the point of watching this it was far enough removed I decided to give it a go. I am so thankful I did. I started the show ~9:30 pm and ended up staying up 25 hours straight and binging the entire thing. It wasn't meant to be that long, but it landed on the day of the clocks changing so I was up for even longer. I watched the entire thing straight through. I SOBBED MY EYES OUT and was pacing around my room. I have never related to a fictional character as much as I relate to Charlie, down to the hyperspecific experience of passing out on a school trip to a foreign country because of not eating from an eating disorder. I see myself reflected in him, and his recovery plotline helps keep me out of relapse. So thank you Alice Oseman, thank you Joe Locke, and thank you Heartstopper. This collage is really big and really bright. I kind of blacked out when I made it and came back to consciousness when it was done, so I couldn't tell you much about the process. But I really wanted to capture the light of the show, the happiness, because even with all the darker and difficult themes, it's the happiness that the show gave me that I will hold in my heart forever. Okay, Heartstopper rant over lmao.

A collage a little more unique than my others! Or, at least in terms of premise lol. It's for a fic that I was intending on writing and maybe one day will get more than a single chapter done of. It's a Ronance-focused fantasy AU set in a mostly DnD compliant fantasy world. I ADORE the concept of druid!Robin and princess!Nancy, so how could I not? I also have a lot of mood boards for every character over in the mood boards section of my art page, so go check those out if you'd like. Those roses are a PAIN because this collage is currently on my ceiling and the roses do NOTTTTT like staying attached. I step on them quite frequently and their stems are wire, it hurts :(
